Horizon's Concert Band - The Amelia Arts Academy New Horizons
Concert Band is open to any musician (strings, woodwind, brass,
or percussion). We are currently in need of more strings and other

- This is a new website that is primarily an online musician's
referral service and is geared towards helping the public locate
and book musicians to perform at weddings, parties, events, venues,
or concerts. It also helps musicians (and all other types of performers)
find gigs in order to obtain bookings. Finally, it serves to connect
music and arts teachers with potential students. It is home based
in Amelia Island Florida but serves the entire US.
Amelia
Island Chamber Music Festival - The Amelia Island Chamber
Music Festival debuted to rave reviews in June 2002 and earned
resounding acclaim for presenting chamber music in a fresh new
light. Internationally famous artists performed in intimate, historic
settings during a two-week period. Each of the sixteen concerts
was sold out almost before the festival began.

Symphony Orchestra - As one of a handful of American orchestras
with its own dedicated concert hall, the Jacksonville Symphony
Orchestra performs the majority of its programs in the internationally
recognized Robert E. Jacoby Symphony Hall at the Times-Union Center
for the Performing Arts, the only true orchestra concert hall
in Florida. Founded in 1949, Jacksonville’s symphony is one of
Florida’s most long-standing orchestras.

of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival - The Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp
Festival will be held in Fernandina Beach the first weekend in
May, 2005. The festival attracts thousands of vistors from around
the globe, and features food (shrimp, of course), an arts and
crafts festival, antiques, and of course, great musicians.

The
Island Art Association, Inc., was organized for philanthropic
and educational purposes. Our two major projects are the Co-op
Gallery and the Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival Arts &
Crafts Show. The Co-op Gallery is located
in the charming historic district of Fernandina Beach, FL. We
feature a wide variety of art works and media by local artists.
